Hello my beloved friends,
My plan was to write the newsletter every full moon and talk about the full moon ceremony. However, things in my life shifted drastically and I’m a bit off schedule.
After returning from Bali, I went into a deep, dark place of disparity, desperation and depression. I cried every day and felt my energies were completely depleted. Some were calling out the dark night of the soul. I called upon my spiritual healing community. I did a past life regression, several Reiki sessions, Tantra sessions, Shamanic sessions, therapy sessions and more. I would feel better for a brief time and then the pummel into the sadness, often darker than before. I prayed for things to change.

A few weeks ago, I was lying in bed feeling I could not get up when I received a phone call from my dear friend of 38 years. She has been battling cancer for four years. She needed me to come to the hospital to be with her. I forced myself to get up and go to her. It was the moment that the light began to return. At the hospital, she made the decision to stop treatments and go under Hospice care. I am now spending 3 nights and 1-2 days a week being her caregiver and sharing precious moments together.

My perspective on life has shifted. As I lay next to her at night, I find a place of deep gratitude for the life I live. A life that I can be with my friend to witness and hold her as she journeys on this path of the greatest transition. I have also come to honor the darkness. For me, it is in the deep, dark earth that seeds are planted and begin to grow. From the depths of the darkness, the beauty of growth comes.  Remember what is important in this life. For me, it’s the relationships that I nurture and cultivate.

The next puja is the sacral chakra puja- pleasure. We will be experiencing, awakening and activating our second chakra. I’m very excited to raise the energy and rejoice in our right to have pleasure. Please wear orange, the color associated with the 2nd chakra. It’s on June 21, the day before my birthday, I invite you to join us afterwards for a special celebration of sweet delights.

Hello Beloved Tantra Sacred Loving Friends,

Incredible full moon energy this month. I have been basking in the moonbeams and soaking in the sweet delights and moon-ifesting. My friend Kara Mari Ananda says:
“The four steps of moon-ifestation are: Gratitude, Clearing, Visioning, and Action. When these steps are consciously practiced in alignment with the Full Moon, Waning Moon, New Moon, and Waxing Moon, it accelerates the achievement of goals, healing, and success.”
I have been dancing, singing, howling and frolicking in this full moon energy and moon-ifesting my next adventure.

While in Bali, I had an incredible spiritual experience I would like to share:
I was snorkeling in the Java Sea near Komodo Island. It was storming and raining.  We were in open waters, no sight of land. I was nervous about snorkeling  in the deep waters but jumped in when they told us to get in the water. I swam about, not able to see very much and thinking, “this is rather crazy”. Then I looked up; I could not see my companions or the boat or land. In that moment, I felt alone and frightened in the vastness. I recognized the fear and knew I could allow myself to go into  a full-blown panic but instead  I surrendered to my fears. I felt a bubble surround me, as if I was in the womb of my mother. I felt a deep serenity and knew I was safe in the LOVE and nurturing of the waters that surrounded me. It was true bliss as my sacred waters flowed in delight at feeling so much love, love of the Divine. After some period of time, I felt a presence beneath me. I opened my eyes to see a huge, majestic manta ray. I was in complete awe at the incredible beauty and grace. It swam beneath me, I heard a voice say, “follow me”. It led me back to the boat and then swam away.
Surrender is the key. When I am feeling the chaos rise up and the fears flaring, I will practice the breath of surrender and feel into the LOVE. The manta has shown me the way.

At the Renewal Puja, we explored in the realms of playfulness, connection, reflection, integrity, respect, boundaries and touch. It warms my heart and brightens my spirit as I witness people opening to one another and discovering more about themselves. Thank you for sharing yourself and being a part of this community.
We will be exploring, opening, expanding and deepening our understanding of our chakras in the next few Pujas. Join us in the sacred space of Puja to learn more about who you really are. See you soon.

Hello Beloved Tantra Friends, 

I am writing to you beneath a Full Moon with increased creative life force energies swirling intensely in my second chakra. I have been vibrating with these incredible energies for days as I watched the shadow of the moon shift and the reflection become more whole. Thoughts of being perfect, whole and complete in this moment continue to enter my mind. This has become my mantra lately, “I am perfect, whole and complete in this moment”. I encourage you to try it and see how it feels for you. I say it first thing in the morning upon awakening, several times throughout the day and it is the last thing I say to myself before drifting off to sleep.

My moon ceremonies continue to evolve and shift, like pujas. This month, my son’s dog was with me. We howled at the moon in front of a sacred fire. We sang our moon songs, brought up incredible energies and did some amazing manifesting. I brought my eggs, my crystals, and my mesa to the fire. Cleansing and clearing, releasing and receiving in the beautiful light of the moon, I honor these moments of deep meditation and sacred ceremony that I am who I am and I know what I know.

The Love Puja, Valentine’s Workshop and Advanced Puja were amazing experiences this year. I love our community, we continue to grow and expand while connecting more and more. It’s a beautiful, safe space to explore authentic communication, nurturing touch and sacred connection. I am grateful for the opportunity to support people on their spiritual journey, to embody spiritual principles and integrate these lessons into our daily lives. Welcome to a life of amazing shifting, releasing, exploration, adventure, expansion and contraction.

2013… The year of the snake. Shedding our old skin and embracing the new, vibrant, supple one has proven to be quite an experience for me. Exciting new adventures have been unfolding and developing. Last year I was manifesting Tantra Adventure Tours, as the process evolved Embark Upon A Sacred Journey emerged and the first tour for Bali has launched with a new website and Facebook Page. This Adventure tour will incorporate Tantra Yoga spiritual principles into amazing adventures in Bali. Here is a quick look:

How much can you possibly expand? A journey through our chakras while moving physically through sacred sites and rites. Imprint and embody Tantra into every cell of your being. The Surrender Puja in January brought awareness to the power of letting go of that which no longer serves. We created beautiful safe space for one another, holding each other in utmost honor, bringing awareness to issues that no longer serve and setting the intention to “let it go”.  The energy of the LOVE in the room was palpable. I invite you to join us for the LOVE PUJA February 8^th and let’s see where we can take this energy 

It is the month of LOVE and I am hosting a Valentine’s Workshop on February 9^th. In this workshop we will explore concepts of authentic communication, nurturing touch and sacred connection. I am thrilled to welcome Anastasia Bobadilla who will be guiding us in Thai Massage and yummy partner yoga. We will have light refreshments available for you to nurture your body as we nurture our spiritual connection.

Following the Valentine’s Workshop, there will be an ADVANCED PUJA. This Puja is for the more experienced students; please contact me regarding registration. We will be delving deeper into the exploration of some Tantra Yoga concepts. We will bring up the energies and ignite the power of manifestation and intention. We will engage Tantric techniques to heighten the energetic experience. I welcome you to join us in this safe, sacred space to explore more of who you are!

Happy New Year. In this newsletter I want to share an exquisite experience I had recently:

I journey into the deep cave of the Ancient One. It was not dark but like the night sky with luminescent creatures on the walls.  Their light was amazingly bright, glittery and cheerful. As I continued on my path, I noticed overwhelming feelings of content, joy and giddiness.

The deeper I traveled the lighter it became. I reached an inner chamber with a fire pit. There were sticks strategically placed, ready to have a flame touch them so that they may burn. I sat before the pit in meditation. When I opened my eyes there was a fire starter to my right side. I lit the torch and brought the flame to the awaiting sticks. They accepted the flame and began to do their own dance, letting go of their current form and transforming. The flames were mesmerizing as they flickered and twirled and did their unique tango. As I watched, I began to see “the man”, a spirit friend of mine who visits from time to time. He is in the flames and he is talking to me, not with words. His message is repeated over and over.

Different symbols leap from the fire and attach to objects around the cave. The walls, the ceiling, rocks, stalagmites, stalactites, droplets of water, and some are suspended in the air. They are everywhere and when they stop leaping from the flames there is a moment of stillness. In the stillness, all is calm and serene, and the symbols begin to glow. Dully at first, then growing. The intensity of their light shines so brightly it is shocking. As I relax into the brightness, I begin to notice the vibration the symbols are giving off, the vibration of the fire, the vibration of the earth, the vibration of the air, the vibration within my body. From the ceiling strands of black, red, gold, silver and white descend and wrap themselves around my aura. I feel cocooned in their protection, love and support.  I know I am home.

2013 is the year of the snake, shedding of the old skin and revealing the new. I have been manifesting Tantra Adventure Tours; however, Embark Upon a Sacred Journey has become the reality.  The first adventure will be in Bali March 29-April 6, 2013. Hello Beloved Friends,

I am writing this newsletter in the wee hours of the morn from my hotel room in Niagara Falls. I have another day here then a train ride to visit friends in Albany, New York and Newark and then catching a plane to explore a portion of India. Traveling is one of my passions. I love to experience new places, people and energies. The inspiration continues to fascinate me as I realize it is ALWAYS available.

Waking up to witness Orion suspended in space above the mist of Niagara Falls, the roaring of the river and the crashing of the water as it plunges over the edge, the sweetness of the air and a sense of deep serenity.  I am open.

Orion continues his journey across the sky, the mist continues to rise, the river continues to flow, I continue to breathe as the sun begins to rise, bringing the shift from night to day.

My thoughts are about negative ions and their effects on serotonin. As I think about looking it up on the Internet, I realize I have access to an abundance of information when I become quiet in my mind and listen to the inner compass. Becoming present in this moment allows me to feel and sense the presence of the magnificence around me. The sacredness of each and every element presented. How deep can I go? How rich is this information? How BIG is BIG?

I am grateful for the participation and presence, both  physical and energetic, of the people who attended The Gratitude Puja in November.  Exploring different levels of gratitude and how lessons show up in our lives is impressive when we become open, willing and accepting.

The next PUJA is on December 14, 2012. The theme is PRESENCE: Unwrapping the Gift.  We will practice the art of being in this moment to enhance the experience, to bring more joy and delight, to better our relationships and to be more productive.
Let’s discover the gift of presence with one another, with ourselves, and with Spirit.

Hello Beloved Friends,

This has been such a beautiful fall. I have really enjoyed this season. The color of the leaves are amazing, the temperatures have been perfect for this time of year and I am thrilled to be in nature every day. I hope you have had time to get outside to enjoy our beautiful weather.

That being said, the weather on the East Coast has not been so pleasant. In fact, it has been very intense with Hurricane Sandy hitting the Eastern Coast. Pictures have been circulating on the internet as I began writing this newsletter. My thoughts, prayers and LOVE go to those in need. I invite us all to take a moment to take a deep breath in, take the energy into your heart, infuse it with your LOVE and send it out to those willing to receive.

I will be traveling in November; first to Niagara Falls for a few days and then on to India for a Tantra Tour with Laurie Handlers. I’m very excited for these upcoming trips and had to schedule our next puja so soon after the last one. I look forward to sharing my experiences with you when I return in December.

The THRILLER PUJA was absolutely amazing.  We did our opening ceremony with more explanation of my views of Tantra and reminding everyone that these pujas are only a miniscule taste of what there is in the realms of a Tantric spiritual path. Then we moved our bodies and came into connection and presence with one another and THEN we did our stations. 3D Reiki, Shaman Illumination, Crystal Light, Sensual Scents and Conscious Touch, it was amazing to witness everyone’s energies as they returned to the circle after receiving at one of the stations. Incredible!  Thank you all for participating and being a part of this experience.

I am looking forward to our next puja this Friday November 2. See you soon.

Hello Beloved Friends,

As the season changes from summer to fall, I am reminded of how my life changes. My focus, my desires, my fantasies, my dreams have shifted periodically through time. Recently, I have been witnessing another shift in my reality.  I have been meditating and breathing into “what does that mean”? A new, different perspective has been evolving, just as Pujas are evolving, workshops are evolving, private sessions are evolving, the quiet mind is evolving—ahhhh perhaps this is the EVOLUTION. I am curious about your thoughts on this matter and the shifts you have experienced in your lifetime.

At the end of September, I attended a celebration of life ceremony for Mike McInerney, my teacher, my mentor, my friend. It was a beautiful ceremony with his daughters performing poetry, music and dance in honor of their father and watching his beautiful wife, Camille, dedicate her dance to her beloved husband. The emotions and feelings of LOVE surrounded us. As we raised our glasses to toast Mike at Lake Tahoe, the sun was setting and a segment of a rainbow appeared. We all felt Mike’s spirit and the segment morphed into a heart giving us the ultimate sign of his presence, love and support.

Mike and Camille initiated me into Sacred Spot MassageTantra Sessions. I met them at my first teacher training module of Divine Feminine Awakened Masculine Institute in Hawaii, where I became aware of the powerful healing modality that was being presented and I felt a calling to be deeply involved in this work. During our mentorship, I worked, learned, played, laughed, and cried with Mike and Camille as we uncovered, discovered and opened up amazing space for us all to explore, expand and contract in this work. They have been incredible in holding space, supporting and guiding me on this journey.

With love and gratitude, honor and respect, I say goodbye to the physical form of Mike McInerney. Mike’s essence, presence, spirit and love will be with me as I continue my spiritual journey.

This month’s puja, THRILLER PUJA will be structured differently. I look forward to discovering how it unfolds and develops, eager to share this experience with you.

Hello Beloved Friends,

I’ve been contemplating on what to write this month. Personally, I have been on a tremendous growth journey with many twists, turns, loops, highs and lows. It seems many people have been going through challenges and I find it interesting to witness our reactions to various situations and experiences.  It is a time of transitions and transformations, what are you calling into your life?

I’ve noticed, for me, it’s whatever I am focusing on that appears in my life. The Law of Attraction at work. It can be an amazing and powerful experience and brings me to a place of realizing how important it is for me to be grounded, centered and practicing spiritual principles. My daily yoga, breathing and Tantra exercises help me to stay in the place of peace and serenity even in midst of perceived chaos, drama and turmoil. I ask myself, “WHAT WOULD LOVE DO?” I learned this from a dear friend, Charles, while I was traveling in Peru. I choose to be in the LOVE space and I choose to release that which does not serve me and help me to remain in LOVE. It is an excellent tool, I highly recommend trying it the next time you feel out of balance—“WHAT WOULD LOVE DO?”

The Healing Powers Puja in August was an experience of self-healing and shamanic journeying. As the facilitator, I am blessed with the gift of witnessing the transformations that occur in the energy in the room. We explored the healing powers of our energy and the incredible ability we have to shed our past that haunts us and summon who we are becoming.  Thank you for sharing your energy and participating in this incredible journey.

I encourage you to explore your energies in the full moon this month—it is also a Blue moon. I will be connecting my sexual energies with my spirituality in a sacred fire ritual. How will you cultivate and nurture yourself on this blessed event?

Hello Beloved Friends,

It’s been an interesting homecoming after an amazing journey in Peru. I’ll share with you a bit of my experience in South America. I arrived in Lima and connected with another flight to Puerto Maldonado where I was met by the staff of Four Winds Society. We went in an open-air bus to a nearby dock to board a boat that would take us down river for about an hour and half to the Eco Lodge where I would be residing for the next week. The Eco Lodge consisted of several cottages, a huge dinning hall, a meeting area and incredible trails that go deeper into the jungle. Naturally, the adventurer I am had to explore those trails. I set out early in the morning, after my yoga, breathing and meditation practice, to see where the trail would take me. While the sounds of the jungle can be rather intimidating while hiking alone in the Amazon, I recognized most of them and felt very comfortable. The diversity of the plants and bugs astonished me as I realized how incredible the planet is. I hiked for about 3 miles and came upon a large lake. The Eco Lodge had built scaffolding, which I climbed up and watched the mist rise as the sun came up over the canopy. I half expected a dinosaur to lift its head—it didn’t happen. I did see a small snake, a tarantula and her babies, caiman, fish, turtles, monkeys, macaws and other incredible birds, and I heard wild boars romping about in the jungle.

After the jungle, I traveled into the Andes to visit sacred Incan sites and participate in daily ceremonies and receive sacred rites from the local Shaman. We stayed in Urubumba at the base of the Andes, a magnificent range of sacred mountains, and traveled to different locations every day including Machu Picchu, Ollantytambo, Puma Marca, Temple of the Sun, Temple of the Moon and many others. Being in these places with the people is an experience that awakens my senses and brings me deeper into my spirituality, reminding me that I am connected, whole and complete in each and every moment.

Now that I am home, for a little bit, I am remembering to breathe deeply, feel into the moment and LOVE unconditionally and whole-heartedly. To live my life to the fullest potential for my highest good and to serve others for their highest good.

I was sent the following and wanted to share with you. It is perfect for what I have been experiencing in my life since returning from Peru. I encourage you to feel into this for yourself and your relationships and discover what it means for you. It comes from the Power Path School of Shamanism:

Relationships could see power struggles depending on the nature of the relationship. There is also an opportunity to empower relationships with more truth, creativity, joy, freedom, choice, love and attention. It is important to try and take the expectations out of the equation. It will become clear once you take your power back from relationships where you have been giving it over, whether the relationship is still viable.

Some relationships have been built on an imbalanced platform of power where one person has given their power away. Once the power is taken back, the relationship either has to reconfigure a new platform or dissolve. Reconfiguring a new platform usually requires a time of separation or disconnection to be successful.

Last month’s puja was very playful and intense. We frolicked, we laughed, we discovered. Expanding and exploring our connection with Source, providing insight into our decision-making process and our behaviors. I am looking forward to our upcoming pujas and what the energy brings.
