Today’s sunrise meditation occurred at the beach in Sanur Beach in Bali, Indonesia. 



As darkness fills with light, 
sounds shift 
from frogs singing
to roosters crowing. 

As darkness fills with light,
sensations shift 
from coolness
to warmth.

As darkness fill with light, 
scents shift
from dampness and mossy smells
to flowery fragrances of the blossoms. 

As darkness fills with light, 
colors shift
from dark indigos, greys and blacks
to pinks, purples and yellows. 

As darkess fills with light, 
flavors shift 
from cool, briskness
to hot, moist stickiness. 

As darkness fills with light …
